There are reports that some people have died due to faktews recently. As well as Whatsapp is facing allegations of being unable to stop the false news spread on his platform. Following that, the company has decided to launch the TV campaign to make people aware about the news of the news in India.
The company has said that the decision has been taken to prevent the spread of news on 2019 Lok Sabha elections, on the WhatsApp news.
Earlier, the company had also started Radio Campaign in two stages to make people aware about news and rumors. In the first phase, starting August 29, the company has run its own campaign on 46 Radio stations of All India Radio.
Since then, the company has run its own campaign on 83 other AIR radio stations from September 5. The company said in a statement that it has studied deeply on its users in India and based on which three TV ads have been prepared.
